Ecclesiastical Items Available for Purchase by Parishioners
We have been utilizing the grant that we received from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation for various projects at the Family Life Center and most specifically for the Holy Cross Chapel, which has been so named in honor and memory of Stavros Niarchos. However, we also have available a number of ecclesiastical items for the faithful people of our Parish to donate as gifts for the completion of Holy Cross Chapel. Below is the current list of items still available to be purchased and donated, followed by the list of items already donated.
Because all the ecclesiastical items will be custom-made, hand-carved, and/or hand-painted in Greece, we have a stringent deadline, and all items must be ordered As Soon As Possible. This will provide the necessary amount of time to prepare and produce all items to be shipped by April 1, 2020 and received and ready for installation beginning on July 6, 2020.
The items are going extremely quickly and purchases will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note that the Iconostasis Wooden Structure, as well as the six (6) Hand-painted Icons for the Iconostasis are part of the Niarchos Foundation Grant and are not available to be donated.
To secure your donation, you must do the following:
1. Call the Church Office at (716) 882-9485; or email Fr. Christos at frchristos@yahoo.com; or call him at (716) 319-0099 and tell him what items you wish to purchase and donate.
2. Download, print, and complete the attached form and submit it along with your payment to the Church Office. You can also find the form in the November and December issues of Glad Tidings and in the Sunday bulletins.
3. Make check payable to Family Life Center and in the Check Memo indicate the item being donated.
4. All donation payments must be received by January 15, 2020.
Please follow this process so that we can correctly honor your request!
